Pheromones and Seductive Scents

pheromone
:  a chemical substance that is usually produced by an animal and serves especially as a stimulus to other individuals of the same species for one or more behavioral responses
pheromonal \ˌfer-ə-ˈmō-nəl\ adjective

Humans, along with other animals and insects have an olfactory system that is finely tuned to detect thousands of subtle chemical compounds. We also release thousands of subtle chemical compounds as a natural response to our emotions and other stimulus. We are silently communicating with each other through these chemical compounds- called pheromones all the time. Some scientists say pheromones can be responsible for our attraction response toward others, and can even influence our selection of mating partners.

Smell and sexual attraction are definitely connected. One of the most interesting things about using Essential Oils as a perfume or cologne, rather than synthetic perfumes is that they naturally react to your personal body chemistry and enhance your natural smell. An Essential Oil on one person may not smell at all like the same Essential Oil on another person.

There are a handful of Essential Oils that are believed to promote sensuality and boost olfactory attraction. These are Jasmine, Sandalwood, Ylang ylang, and Patchouli.
For this Valentine’s Day we have put together two absolutely divine blends to enhance your natural seductive scent. These blends smell divine on both men and women!
