How to Make Fizzing Bath Bombs with Aphrodisiac Essential OIls

February is such a fun month. We get to make all these beautiful products with gorgeous, sensual essential oils and treat our loved ones (and ourselves) to some extra love. Today, we're sharing an easy recipe for fizzing bath bombs made with aphrodisiac essential oils!

The base recipe for these bath bombs can be found here. We are substituting a couple ingredients, though, so be sure to come back over here after you find the original recipe there.

Substitutions for This Recipe:
- Replace the 3 teaspoons of water with 3 teaspoons of Hydrosol. We suggest you use our Rose, Sandalwood, or Orange Blossom Hydrosol.
- Replace the essential oil with more romantic scented choices. You can choose your favorites here. Cocoa and Rose Otto, Rose Otto and Sandalwood, or Lavender and Rose all make great choices for this recipe. Use what you love the most and remember, a little bit goes a long way! Make sure you dilute your essential oils properly and only use bath-safe oils.
- Mix in dried, organic Rose petals.

For this batch of bath fizzies, we used plastic Christmas ornaments as our mold so we could achieve round bath bombs. The process for making them is the same as described in the original blog post, with the exception of the changes mentioned above.

Enjoy!

  1. Im confused about the last part; "we used plastic Christmas ornaments for the mold". How do you mean?

    1. They are the kind you can find in craft stores that come in two halves so you can fill them and place the two halves together to form the round ball. They look like this: http://www.amazon.com/Naice-Christmas-Ornament-Plastic-Fillable/dp/B013I3E38U/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1455036811&sr=8-1&keywords=plastic+christmas+ornaments+fillable

You just fill them up with the mixed ingredients and let them dry, same as you would in the molds from the original recipe. =) When they're dry, you remove the ornament halves and you're left with round bath fizzies. =) Hope that helps!

      Much love,
